Description
It is amusing how one portion of the room pulls your eyes into its attractiveness, inviting you to stare at its beauty. There’s no magic in it. Architects, interior designers, and other artists know the technique; it’s called accenting. It’s when you defy the regular colors or shapes of the room and place something that goes beyond them; drawing the attention of the eyes. Designate it in a visible or tactical location and voila! You got your room a “mysterious” element!
Here’s how we did it in our dining room over here: white, black and brown are the main colors for this room, making up the motif. We thought of a color that can blend with white, black and brown individually which also can blend with these three colors if located adjacent each other. Blue is a good one for the accent color; however, there are over a thousand shades of it! It’s like fishing for a dwarf pygmy goby in the middle of the Pacific Ocean! But thanks to our customize section, choosing which blue has become stress-free. We concluded that the one that stands out for this particular room is royal blue.
It would be monotonous if everything is in royal blue. To add some interest, we strategically used the blue for the words in this scripture that we want to emphasize and gray for the others. Put these considerations together and stand back for amazement! Look at how artistic you can get with DecorativeLettering’s ornamental wall lettering; decoration and encouragement rolled into one!
