About this Photo

You can't help but feel welcome when you enter this home. And if you're Irish, you know that you're being greeted with a hundred thousand welcomes - that's what Cead Mile Failte means. Our homeowners felt that this well-known Irish saying was an appropriate greeting for their guests and so far, they have been right.

Getting this Irish saying to look as perfect as it does wasn't all that difficult, either. That's because rather than messing around with a stencil, or a painter, or trying to mount multiple wooden letters, the homeowners opted to give our wall letterforms a try. As difficult as this perfectly-spaced project appears, this phrase and embellishments were in place and ready to be admired in less than 15 minutes! The homeowners did not have to hire professional installers or purchase any special installation tools. (They did however need a very tall ladder, which they had!)

Their Irish saying arrived on a roll that consisted of 3 different layers. They unrolled the phrase and taped it into place. When they were satisfied with the positioning, they flipped up one of the layers and pulled away the protective backing paper and allowed the phrase to fall back into place. They then took the tool that we provide with every order and began rubbing out each of the letters. When they finished rubbing, they carefully removed the excess material and the project was complete.

Needless to say, these happy homeowners have become repeat customers, applying decorative wall sayings throughout their home!
