When deciding on bedroom decor, remember the timeframe of the Colonial era. It began during the eighteenth century as the first settlers began arriving in the United States. All that was really here then were Indians from whom the Colonists learned to live off the land. Beds at that time were simple four poster beds made out of rustic woods from newly fallen trees.
